One on One Barbell Clinic
For those of you new to barbell training or the Starting Strength program, this service is for you. The One Day Clinic is a comprehensive tutorial on 4 exercises of your choice. We will go in depth on teaching you the proper technique and performance of each lift, but this is a workout. We will go heavy enough to find errors in your form and establish appropriate weights to start your program with. Scheduling of this program is by appointment only. Please allow for 90-120 minutes to get through all 4 exercises. After completing the 1-Day clinic you may schedule 1 or more follow up appointments at your convenience. Small Group Barbell Clinic
Learn the basics of the Squat, Press, and Deadlift in this comprehensive tutorial. Clinic sizes are limited to 8 participants and classes are generally held on one Saturday a month. The small group format allows trainees to get the same expert instruction at a more affordable rate than the 1 on 1 clinic. This 2-3 hour training session is just $200. We can work with complete beginners who want to learn the barbell lifts for the first time or experienced lifters looking to polish up their form and technique. We have extensive experience with advanced athletes, competitive lifters, high school athletes, as well as older adults (ages 50-80) who are looking for specialized instruction.
One on One Coaching sessions are tailored for each individual trainee based on their need and experience. Most sessions will focus heavily on the:
- Bench Press
- Standing Press
If desired, separate sessions can also be scheduled for instruction on the:
- Power Clean
- Power Snatch
