KSC is a fully equipped private strength training facility, exclusively dedicated to our personal training clients. All training at KSC is conducted via one on one private coaching or in a small groups of 2-3. For our clients, this means no crowds, no distractions, and a trainer who is solely focused on you and your goals. We will make sure you are doing things safe, and doing things right at every training session. All clients are placed on a fully customized strength & fitness plan in accordance with their needs, goals, and current level of ability.
Who are our Clients?
Our clients range from NCAA Division I college athletes to adults in their 70′s looking to combat the effects of aging.
Many of our clients will have little to no experience with strength training or exercise at all. Not to worry, we will guide you through the process from start to finish.
The common link between all our clients is that our focus is on building strength. The type of functional strength that athletes need for sport and that regular people need for LIFE. This gym is not about bodybuilding, power lifting, or getting ready for swim suit season. We are about improving the quality of our clients’ lives through strength training or preparing athletes for the rigors of competition.
Our Mission at Kingwood Strength & Conditioning is to teach, coach, and demonstrate the benefits of strength training to any member of our community that is interested in improving their health, physical fitness, or athletic performance.
At Kingwood Strength & Conditioning we fulfill our mission through the use and practice of the classical barbell exercies such as squats, overhead presses, deadlifts, and bench presses. These exercises form the core of all of our training programs.
In the fitness world, fads and gimmicks come and go with regularity. The classic barbell exercises have proven themselves over many decades to be a superior training system to all others for increases in strength, muscle mass, and bone density.
Barbell training is the most efficient and effective form of exercise for members of any demographic – men, women, young, old, fit or fat. It is safe and universally scalable to all levels of ability or current physical condition.
Barbell training has the greatest impact on an individual’s functional strength and body composition (i.e. you will lose fat as you build muscle), and in athletes, it creates the foundation of ALL other athletic qualities.
